“Hitting Scunny for my first Sat night, can anyone advise on the best (and worse) places to visit/miss please? Just need somewhere lively, cheap n cheerful and hopefully within walking distance of each other.

Also, being new to the town, are there any social clubs where newbies can help increase their circle of friends/drinking buddies? - don't fancy being Billy-no-mates stood at the bar all the time lol.
