Many enjoy second cider festival staged by Brigg District Lions
Many glasses were raised at the weekend in honour of the second Brigg Lions Cider Festival.
The venue was again Lion John Reid's transport depot, off Atherton Way.
Volunteer Lions manned the longest bar in the area and hand-pulled halves and pints from the keg at the request of thirsty visitors.
There were four types of perry and 22 sorts of cider to sample.

The most alcoholic tipple was Biddenden Medium, from Kent, 8.00 ABV.
The mildest was Orchard Pig Explorer at 4.5.
Warm weather must have helped in attracting drinkers over the two days!
Hopefully, after two cider festivals, the Lions will be keen to go for the hat-trick next September.
They also hold a long-established beer festival each May.

“Old Beardy in the second photo looks like he likes to get on the b*****d! I'd of had him down as a real ale man though!”
