Fire-fighters called after gas main damaged in Belton
A gas leak in Belton was attended by fire-fighters late yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, Nov 20).
They were called to an access road to Ferning Croft shortly before 5pm.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service described the gas leak as being due to damage to the mains gas supply.
A hose reel was laid out as a precaution until the arrival of a gas company engineer.
About 5.40pm last night, a fire crew was called to a road traffic accident on Rosper Road in South Killingholme.
It involved a car whose driver was suffering from chest pains.
