WHAT a joy. I went to Marshalls Yard in Gainsborough. Parking fee for two hours was 50p.

If I had paid £1 for the two-to-four hour fee I would have been able to obtain 50p off one of my purchases.

Come on Scunthorpe Labour council, why can't you look at something like this to get back footfall which you must have lost to Gainsborough. I travel into Scunthorpe six days a week and I notice now that where the buses to Gainsborough used to be nearly empty, they are now mostly full.

If this is the case how many cars are also travelling to Gainsborough?

Also, there was not a traffic warden in sight – different to Scunthorpe where some of the wardens are taking details before you even get out.
