A freaky Friday for North Lincs
GHOULS, goblins and zombies will be rocking through North Lincolnshire as Halloween fever spreads.
Fun-loving families have primed themselves for the American-inspired event, donning their scariest wigs and masks in preparation for a night of Trick or Treating, ghost walks and other spooky events being held.

But for one resident, Halloween will be given an unusual creative twist.
Pumpkin carver Craig Hanson (28) from Meadow Road, Scunthorpe will be applying his creative talents to the fruits to fashion a range of unique designs.
"I've carved about a dozen pumpkins this year and I do it all for the kids as they absolutely love it," he said
And you can watch Craig in action in a special video on www.thisisscunthorpe.co.uk
But father-of-four Craig's pumpkins are not etched with the usual scary faces and ghoulish smiles.
Instead, Craig mostly carves film themed pumpkins.
"I've done ET, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Elvis and Batman and it usually takes me about two hours to do."

“Let America keep halowe'en. Why do we have to jump on the bandwagon just because they do it? Pathetic excuse for making a few quid and begging at peoples doors.”
