POLICE investigating an attempted ram-raid at a Barton shop have appealed for help in identifying a man.

Humberside Police has released CCTV footage in connection with the investigation into the incident at the Co-Operative store in Market Lane.

A red Ford Ka was reversed into the shop's secure doors between 3.40am and 4am on Sunday, November 4.

This enabled two people to gain access to the store's cash machine, which they made an unsuccessful attempt to steal.

They then drove off in another vehicle, leaving the Ford Ka behind.

Anybody who can help identify the man in the CCTV image should call police on 101, quoting crime reference 1939903.
