N Lincs wages 13% below national average

CLASSROOM:  Average earnings for teachers are £36,000, according to the latest figures.

AVERAGE wages in North Lincolnshire are 13 per cent lower than the national average and concerns have been raised about the impact of the recession.

GMB figures showed the average wage in North Lincolnshire, before tax, was £27,233, compared with £31,323 nationally.
