Des Comerford, managing director of Fallen Hero, said: "Last year it was an absolute honour for us to be crowned Young Fashion Retailer of the Year. We were nominated again for the 2012 awards and to make it to the final for a second consecutive year is just unbelievable.
"To reach the final is fantastic but we knew when we entered this year's awards that with the greatest respect to our competitors, we are not competing against them.
"We are competing against ourselves from last year.
"We had to show we had added value to our company from when we last won the award.
"We are in the finals for the second year running and this has proved to the judges that we have improved even further."
The awards are organised by fashion industry magazine Drapers and the ceremony will be attended by 1,000 guests.
Fallen Hero will face five rivals from across the country in the Young Fashion Retailer of the Year category.
Winners in other sections at last year's awards included Harrod's, Fred Perry and Diesel.
Mr Comerford said the company had worked hard since last year's ceremony to keep moving forward.
He said: "It is very much a case of not resting on your laurels.
"While it was a fantastic achievement to win last year, we have had to improve.
"There are some things we have implemented in the company which have benefited us tremendously.
"We will go there with experience of what to expect because last year was an unbelievable occasion and it was the highlight of my 40 years in the fashion industry.
"To surpass that would be extremely difficult but to win it twice would be a fairytale come true."
