Do you know of a community champion?
A community champion has spoken of the importance of rewarding those who go the extra mile to help others.
Daniel Redhead, from Winterton, was recognised for his volunteering work at last year's Young Voice Awards.
Now, as the build-up to the inaugural North Lincolnshire Community Champion Awards continues, he urged people to get their nominations in.
He said: "It is really special when people nominate us for these kind of things. It makes you want to push on. Volunteering is really rewarding and you get to meet lots of different people."

Daniel was nominated along with Lewis Dawson and Rachel Cooksey, for their work during the summer of 2011. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Summer 2011 raised £8,000 in memory of their friend James Neal, who died from a rare form of leukaemia.
The Community Champion Awards are being run by North Lincolnshire Council, in association with the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
The aim is to reward individuals who deserve recognition for the time they dedicate to volunteering, overcoming barriers or excelling in sport or the arts. Nominations are now open, with 26 awards to be presented across four categories.
The awards are split into sections – volunteer, achievement, community and inspiration.
People are encouraged to nominate anybody they feel is worthy of an award.
The awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Baths Hall on Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe, on Thursday, November 29.
Nominations can now be made online at www.northlincs.gov.uk/ CommunityChampionAwards2012
Alternatively, call 01724 297270, e-mail community.recreation@ northlincs.gov.uk or collect a nomination form from the Scunthorpe Telegraph reception.
