Owner Wayne Greaves says the firm offers an extensive range of gardening products.

The firm signed up in October, ahead of the winter period.

"We tend to have around 150 machines in stock at one time," he said.

"We decided to sign up in the run-up to winter as this is the time when we tend to sell fewer lawnmowers and move on to selling more blowers, hedge cutters, chainsaws and scarifiers, which remove thatch."

The family-run business has a large showroom containing more than 150 products, ranging from hand-mowers to diesel ride-ons.

There is also easy access provided for disabled customers.

Mr Greaves said the firm's prices were kept very low. He also said that small independent firms offered a higher level of service than people could expect from a larger firm.

"For everything we sell, there is a back-up and all our machines are ready for the customer to use, not just in a box," he said.

"If there are any problems with a machine then it comes straight back to us to service and is not sent off somewhere else. You also get a much more personal service."
