There have been increased sightings of mink along the banks of the River Ancholme.

Across the British Isles there is a network of volunteers like Chris recording information about fauna, flora and wildlife.
The mink issue was reported during the latest meeting of the Ancholme Users' Group.

Members also heard that young people were still riding motorcycles up and down the towpath in Brigg, opposite the Glanford Boat Club.
In order to secure funds for projects to improve the river, an Ancholme Trust is being established.
It is hoped to put this in place in the near future.
Brigg-based Ancholme Rowing Club will be holding its 2013 Head of the River Race on October 13.
The Brigg Spring Clean, including the riverside, will be on Saturday, May 25.
The next meeting of the Ancholme Users' Group will be on February 11 at Glanford Boat Club, Island Carr Road, Brigg, at 7pm.
