College's final 40th anniversary celebrations
Talented art, performing arts and media students showcased their skills with vibrant and intricate displays in front of scores of visitors on Thursday.
Special guest Eric Charlesworth, 94, the founding college principal, was delighted with the event which rounded off a year of commemorative celebrations.
He said: "I am very honoured to be part of all the 40th anniversary celebrations.
"At my age I am very lucky to still be here.
"I have enjoyed all of the wonderful occasions and I am truly delighted to see lots of magnificent work on display and some inspiring dance routines."
College principal Nic Dakin was delighted with the final event.
"It is wonderful to see so many people enjoying the hard work of our pupils," he said.
"The calibre of their work is great and it is a real credit to our teaching staff.
"It is always nice to have Eric at such celebrations, he is a tremendous supporter and ambassador of the college."
AS art student Emma-Jane Sabin, 16, from Westwoodside, said displaying her works at the college's exhibition was a great honour.
"It is a real privilege to be part of the exhibition and the 40th anniversary celebrations," she said.
