Gala's duty manager Rachel Glinden said her mum received the best care available at the hospice before she died.
Mrs Glinden said: "Mum loved it at Lindsey Lodge. She loved all the people down there and you can't ask for more than that.
"She would go down there every Thursday. They have got people who volunteer and full-time nurses."
The beach-themed Bingo Party takes place on Saturday from 3.30pm.
The party will feature fancy dress and nine prize games of bingo.
