Search forN Lincs wildlife in frame

The photographic book, featuring North Lincolnshire wildlife, has been published to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
Belton-based photographer Geoff Trinder has recorded Lincolnshire wild places and creatures from the Humber to the Wash.
He said: "The diversity of the landscape and wildlife in North Lincolnshire is remarkable for such a small area.
"One thing you get in very flat landscapes is fantastic skies, particularly at this time of year."
Mr Trinder said he has devoted a whole section of his book to the Isle of Axholme, and its peatlands are a major feature.
"The landscape photo I like best is of the Epworth Turbary in the winter," he said.
"It is covered in frost and mist which gives the whole place an air of mystery.
"To me, it shows what it would have been like before it was drained."
Another of his favourite subjects is the long-eared owl and he carefully photographed five or six nests around Epworth and Crowle.
Mr Trinder said: "The young owls are little, grey bundles of feathers but the nicest thing about long-eared owls is they have fantastic orange eyes."
