Ram raiders target laptops at Scunthorpe computer firm

Saturday, September 06, 2008, 07:00

RAM-RAIDERS snatched a haul of laptop computers from a store on Scunthorpe High Street.

A vehicle was repeatedly driven into the front of Cram Computers Ltd by electronics thieves who grabbed a number of the computers.

It is thought the break-in, which took place in the middle of the High Street, overnight between September 4 and 5, could have been caught on CCTV and been witnessed by members of the public.

Manager Amos Fenton said: "We are still open for business, despite what's happened: Basically, they've rammed the shop three times before they've got in, then they've just taken laptops."

A spokesman for Humberside Police said: "The incident happened in a potentially busy part of town so there may have been a number of witnesses to the theft."

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 0845 60 60 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Well done Tony Blair! You knew just when to resign as Prime Minister, leaving Gordon Brown in the mess you created. However, Brown is not without criticism. The next election I will vote for the Monster Raving Loony Party.
