Experts have urged North Lincolnshire's new parents to get involved and find out how breastfeeding can help their new addition.
Dr Andrew Furber, Director of Public Health said: "It's vital the public are aware of the health benefits associated with breastfeeding and mums are given the support they need."
Angela Owen is a breastfeeding care supporter.
She said: "There are so many benefits to breastfeeding, including the fact it's on-tap whenever your baby needs it, you don't have to worry about making up a bottle in advance," she said.
"I personally feel breast milk is better- for one it has the right nutrients for your baby at exactly the right time. It actually changes to suit your baby as it grows."
