Jody said: "It was a great experience for him and I would certainly do it again next year.
"If Bryson won the competition, I would use the prize money to spoil him."
To enter the competition, applicants must supply one of the tokens, printed below, to have their child photographed for free.
The first 500 people to register their under-fives also receive free entry to Cheeky Chimps Playzone in Scunthorpe as a bumper prize for early entry.
Photographs are being taken in a studio by a friendly team of professional photographers from 10am to 4pm everyday except Sundays.
The child's parent or guardian will be given a date and time to return to the studio to view their photographs and choose one which will be featured in the Baby and Toddler photo special in the Scunthorpe Telegraph on Thursday, March 21.
They will also have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the picture as well.
Once all entrants are featured, it will be down to the public to vote for their top 80 with in-paper voting tokens, with 20 entrants going through from each of the four age categories. A panel of judges will decide on a winner from each category, before choosing an overall winner from the final four.
The lucky parents of the first place winner will receive £550 of the prize pot, with £150 for each of the three runners-up. On top of this prize, the parents will receive a complimentary print of the winning photo featuring their child.
The age categories for the competition are 0 to nine months, 10 to 18 months, 19 to 36 months and 3 to 5 years. The ages must be correct at the time of the final day's photography on February 23.
