The new hopefuls, taking part in heat five at the Jolly Sailor, Gunness, will be hoping to give the performance of their lives to secure a place in next month's final at Reeds Hotel, Barton-Upon-Humber.
Monday's event will start at 8.30pm, with contestants performing from 9pm.
Adam Oliver (26), from Ruskin Street, Gainsborough, is excited about the prospect of entering the popular singing competition for the first time.
"I am really looking forward to it. I am hoping it will be a good night and I will have lots of friends rooting for me in the crowd," he said.
"I was encouraged by my friend, who also entered this year. She was not successful in her heat so I am hoping to go one better and reach the final."
Hygienist Adam will be singing Save Tonight by Eagle Eyed Cherry and Sweet Child of Mine by Guns 'n' Roses.
"I chose those songs because they are real crowd pleasers."
Ian McCulloch (43), of Sheffield Street, Scunthorpe, will have a limited time to practise.
"I am in Bulgaria until Saturday but I am really looking forward to Monday night's performance," he said.
"This is my first time in the competition, but I enjoy singing so I think it is going to be fun."
Ian will be hoping to win over the judges with his rendition of the Temptations' classic My Girl and Wet Wet Wet's chart-topping version of The Troggs' Love Is All Around.
And Lilly Boult (33) is confident about her chances.
"I would be lying if I said I was not nervous but I think I have the ability to get to the final," she said.
"It is good to have nerves as it helps the adrenalin kick in when you walk on stage."
Shopworker Lily will be singing the Celine Dion power ballad Think Twice and Kelly Clarkson's Never Again.
X-Factor entrant Lee Bourton (21), from Victoria Road, Ashby, is hoping his nerves do not get the better of him.
"I auditioned for X-Factor last year but I did not get through due to my nerves," he said.
"I am hoping to build on my confidence with this contest.
"I really enjoy singing and had lessons for five years so I am really hoping I can get all the way to the final."
Hairdresser Lee will be singing Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn and Home by Irish boyband Westlife.
Bernadette Smith (24), of Ashdown Avenue, Scunthorpe, will also be performing on the night.
She will be hoping to beat last year's run which saw her narrowly miss out on a place in the final.
