Mr Crampton said this came in addition to another exclusive money-saving offer being provided by the store.
He said: "We have got some good stock at the moment which is all reduced but we have got an extra £2 per square metre discount for Buy Local customers.
"If you have a 5x4 lounge, it means you are going to save an extra £80."
Direct Carpets has traded since 1974 and has built up a loyal customer base.
The firm supplies and installs all floor coverings, from laminates, carpets, carpet tiles, vinyl tiles, cushion floors and specialist floors such as safety flooring.
It also offers a complete service, uplift and removal of old floor coverings, floor preparation, measuring, delivery, installation and expert advice.
The company's showroom also has a wide selection of samples, as well as roll stocks available at discounted prices.
Mr Crampton said being part of the Buy Local campaign had helped the business and urged more people and companies to sign up for it.
He said: "We have had quite a few people coming in with the cards.
"It is something I am quite passionate about and I wish more people would do it."
Direct Carpets is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm and on Saturdays, from 9am to 5pm.
