More room at the Reindeer Inn as guest chalet block approved in Sandtoft
An Isle of Axholme hostelry has been given the go-ahead to expand the business - safeguarding jobs.
North Lincolnshire Council has granted planning permission for a seven-bedroom chalet block at the Reindeer Inn, on Thorne Road in Sandtoft.
This application was considered by the authority to be of significant public interest.
Councillors attending the monthly planning meeting at Scunthorpe Civic Centre were told the "chalet-style bedroom accommodation" would allow people attending functions to stay overnight.

This related to Rookery Farm, Railway Street and is also considered to be of significant public interest.
A decision will now be made at a future meeting of the committee.
