A celebration of all things aviation is set to roar over Cleethorpes this weekend when the Festival of Flight brings vintage and fast jet aircraft to the resort.
The two-day event will see a Hawker Hurricane and Me109 Bouchon take part in an aerial duel as well as appearances from the Red Hawks glider display team, the Red Arrows, a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster Bomber Dambuster Display and much more.

Brigg District Lions are holding the 2012 Brigg Summer Fest in Brigg Market Place on Sunday.
With numerous craft and charity stalls, food outlets, children’s entertainment and live music, there will be plenty to see and do in the Market Place, Wrawby Street and the Angel Suite and Courtyard.

Cars on display in the picturesque surroundings of Normanby Hall Country Park will include models from Fiat, Kia, Renault, Volkswagen, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Citroen, Mazda, Vauxhall, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Volvo, Chrysler, Skoda, Jeep and Ford Transit commercial vehicles.

The Drifters bring six decades of classic hits to the Grimsby Auditorium on Saturday.

The Lullaby Concerts at Louth’s Riverhead Theatre sees the City of London Sinfonia and Claire Bloor present an interactive introduction to orchestras specially designed for children aged five and under.
The show features an animal theme and there will be opportunities to sing and dance along to the music as well as a chance to meet the orchestra and their instruments in a friendly and relaxed setting.

Starring renowed entertainer Peter Gill, The Golden Days of Musical Satire brings some of the last century’s funniest songs to the Riverhead Theatre in Louth and throws them together in a 90 minute, one man and his piano show.

The third biennial North Lincolnshire Print Open begins its run at the Ropewalk in Barton this Saturday.

BBC weather presenter Keeley Donovan will open St Margaret’s Church’s 123rd annual garden party on Saturday.
The event, which will feature numerous stalls and games, will also welcome a parade led by the Grimsby and Cleethorpes Sea Cadets Marching Band, a fancy dress competition as well as an exciting display by the Laceby Shotokan Karate Club.

From Star Wars creator George Lucas comes Red Tails, based on the true story of the first all African American aerial combat unit.
Starring Cuba Gooding Jr and Terrence Howard, the film follows a group of WWII aviators, the Tuskegee Airmen, who triumph over endemic racism within the US forces as well as their fascist enemies in Europe.
