networking: A seminar in Hull is to show local firms how they can use business networking website LinkedIn to increase sales.
Marketing consultant and LinkedIn expert Steve Mills will be the guest speaker at the Chartered Institute Of Marketing (CIM) event on Tuesday at The Exchange in Alfred Gelder Street.
Mr Mills is the founder of the LinkedIn Training Academy, which has helped thousands of UK businesses make the most of LinkedIn to raise their profile, generate leads and increase website traffic.
At the seminar, businesses will learn how they can build a LinkedIn contact database, use LinkedIn to improve their search engine rankings, and how LinkedIn can work with other online marketing techniques like pay per click advertising.
