Have your say on proposals for new University Technical College in Scunthorpe town centre
Residents have been invited to have their say on plans for a new University Technical College (UTC).
North Lincolnshire Council has launched a consultation on the project, earmarked for land at Church Square in Scunthorpe town centre.
The council is preparing to submit a formal bid to the Government's Department for Education to set up the college.
If approved, the £10 million scheme would specialise in engineering and have a strong focus on work-based learning.

It would cater for around 600 students and would seek to improve the future job prospects of young people in North Lincolnshire, as well as boosting the local economy.
Councillor Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: "I'm very keen to make North Lincolnshire a place where young people not only achieve academically but also a place where they gain hands-on experience and learn good old-fashioned work ethics.
"Our plans for the UTC will help inspire the area's young people to be whatever they want to be.
"Before we submit our bid it is important that you give us your views on the proposal, so they can be taken into account with the application."
