Dame Maggie returns to the film set

Monday, October 06, 2008, 18:53

Dame Maggie Smith is due to start filming again after being hit with cancer while filming the last Harry Potter film.

The 73-year-old actress was treated for breast cancer during filming as Professor McGonagall for Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince, but she is now on the road to recovery, the Daily Express reports.

Oscar winner Maggie is now due to start filming children's fantasy film From Time To Time, directed by Julian Fellowes.

The film is an adaptation of Lucy M Boston's children's book The Children Of Green Knowe.

It is being filmed at Athelhampton House in Dorset.

"Maggie Smith hasn't been well and these projects do tend to ebb and flow in terms of getting everyone available at the right time and getting financing but they are definitely starting this time," the house's owner Patrick Cooke said.

Regarding the smoking ban, when you go out and go back home you no longer smell like an ashtray. Passive smoking kills. Period.
