Patricia Clarkson says no to Botox

Wednesday, December 03, 2008, 18:06

Patricia Clarkson has denied that she has resorted to cosmetic surgery to keep her looks.

The 48-year-old, who could be mistaken for being a decade younger, said at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York: "No, I don't do anything special. Nothing's been altered, it's all me. As you can see, my face can very much move."

The Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress admitted her secrets to a younger-looking complexion.

"I use Kiehls' Firming Serum and then I use Faces By Greta by Greta Rubens. I've used her products for 15 years and it's just moisturiser and toner," she said.

"I don't eat dairy. I don't eat cow, just goat - I drink goat's milk and goat's yoghurt. I don't smoke and I try not to drink too much."

Patricia also revealed that working with filmmaker Woody Allen on Vicky Cristina Barcelona was a dream come true.

"I love working with Woody [Allen], and I did another film, Whatever Works, with Woody after Vicky Cristina, so I got to work with Woody twice in the span of 10 months. I'm like the luckiest person alive," she gushed.

"Whatever Works is a completely different film but it's still classic Woody Allen. I can't even talk about it too much so I can't tell you about it, but it's very funny. I think it's going to be hysterical. I mean, it's Woody Allen and Larry David. Whereas Vicky Cristina's more soulful, beautiful, lyrical and sexual."

Regarding the smoking ban, when you go out and go back home you no longer smell like an ashtray. Passive smoking kills. Period.
