More snow expected for the Scunthorpe area this evening (March 13, 2013)
Snow hit the Scunthorpe area this afternoon (March 13, 2013) for a brief time - following Met Office warnings for the region.
Yorkshire and Humber has been issued with a yellow weather warning, which means there is the possibility of snow.

More snow is forecast for the Scunthorpe area
Sleet showers are expected to start at 6pm tonight and will continue through to 9pm.
The Met Office warns we could expect between 1-2cm of snow.
