How would you spend play park £70k fund?

Emily Oliver and her mum Teresa Sowerby at Lilac Avenue Park, Scunthorpe, which is set for a makeover.
Standing in the shadow of the steelworks, with just four tired items of play equipment and an smell of sulphur in the air, the playground has certainly seen better days.
In a bid to make sure the local community gets the most from the facility, ward councillors have urged families to put their ideas forward
Parents and children who live in the area said they were pleased the park was finally due for a revamp and appreciated the opportunity to have an input.
Lilac Avenue residents Theresa Sowerby and daughter Emily Oliver, 10, are regular visitors to the playground.
Emily said: "I really like the park but it'll be loads better with some new equipment.
"I'd like more swings and slides and climbing frames."
Sandra Bainbridge, ward councillor for the area, said: "We have £70,000 of government funding to improve play facilities at the park.
"There is a small group looking at fundraising for other improvements and we are keen to recruit more people to the group.
"If you have any ideas about what the park should look like or what you want to see there, get in touch."

“It's ok having the 'sound bite',
"PARENTS have been urged to have their say on a project to rejuvenate a Scunthorpe park".
We as parents of Melior School South Site pupils and surrounding residents were promised to have a say on what becomes of the school & grounds once it closes. We were told we would all be able to have an input and forward ideas into what should become of the site.
So far those promises have been empty, maybe a select few have been asked for views and ideas but that wasn't the promise.
We've had no communication from the school and no local councillors have been intouch to seek our ideas.
There's an election coming so we might actually see them on the streets some time soon.”
