They still face a tall order to make up the six-points they trail leaders Grimsby Town 3rds by but the victory keeps Hibaldstow in the race as the season enters its final stages.
Outcasts however remain bottom of the table, two points behind Brigg 3rds, as they continue to find themselves on the wrong end of some narrow defeats this season.
Simon Pullan hit 58 for Hibaldstow when they set a score of 151 for nine, Peter Tait taking a hat-trick for the Priorymen in his figures of three for 30 and, despite a superb 93 from Jamie Belton, Outcasts failed to reach their target ending the game on 148 for nine, just three short of the Hibaldstow total.
Grimsby Town 3rds won their top-of-the-table clash at Broughton 3rds in what proved to be e real run fest.
Jake Parker scoring 55 and Nick Dobbs 46 for Broughton who made 224 for seven when taking first knock but youngster Harry Warwick showed great maturity when hitting 107 not out as Town replied with 226 for 5 to take a five-point lead over their rivals.
Haxey 3rds won for the second successive match with only nine men, their latest victory coming at Brigg Town 3rds who were bowled out for 51.
That was chiefly by Joe Scott (5 for 14) and Rob Young (4 for 21) before the same players then guided Haxey to 512 for 5, Young making 16 and Scott 15 not out.
Finally in Division Two Alkborough 3rds gained an excellent six-wicket win at Wheatley and Leverton, who made 143 all out.

He and Ben Walker (63 not out) put together an unbeaten fifth-wicket partnership of 130 to guide his team to victory, James Peck taking all four wickets to fall.
Caistor Cougars have climbed into joint second spot in Division One after beating Barton Town 3rds by six wickets at Marsh Lane.
Barton set a target of 143 when batting first, Tom Palin hitting 30 with Paul Rendell taking three for 37, then Harry Boulton top scored for the Cougars with 62, who replied with 144 for four with Steeper picking up three for 27 for Barton.
