Once again there was a complete washout in the North Lindsey Cricket League, with all seven scheduled games being postponed due to the continued wet conditions across the county.

Division One leaders Scunthorpe Town were due to host Caistor Cougars at Heslam Park but had to settle for a point each whilst the proposed double header between Barton Academy Vikings and Grimsby Town was also washed out leaving both sides with two points to add to their total.

Brumby Hall was under water in places, hence the postponement of Appleby-Frodingham v Broughton 3rds.

The match between Scunthorpe and Grimsby, which should have been played at Heslam Park on May 6 and was subject to a possible rearrangement, has now been officially deemed to be a rained off game with the teams sharing the points.

Alkborough had graciously agreed to host what should have been Cleethorpes 5ths' Division Two home game due to Chichester Road being unavailable but sadly for both teams the weather had the final say.

The derby match out on the Isle between Haxey and Misterton was also called off due to a waterlogged ground.

In Division Three, Broughton 4ths had hoped to get their ground fit to play against Blyth but they were thwarted because of the exceptional wet weather.

And Upton cum Kexby cancelled their home fixture with Normanby Park on Saturday following a heavy storm that swept across the region.
