WELL done. We had notification four weeks ago from North Lincolnshire Council that the section of Barrow Road that we live on was going to be re-surfaced and it would take approximately five days to carry out the work.

I started to work out where I could park my car as I normally park on the road. I waited in trepidation for the day to arrive.

I needn't have worried, the contractors made sure that the road was cleaned at the end of each working day, made sure that we could park our cars on the road and only took three days to carry out the work.

I don't know who the contractors were but myself and neighbours would like to say thank you to them for their consideration and the quality of work they carried out.

The only addition we need now is a speed camera to control the vehicles that speed on this section of Barrow Road and past Baysgarth School.
