Outcasts travelled to the coast happy in the knowledge they were safe from the threat of relegation, but little did they know the match would prove to be the most exciting of the campaign.
The visitors were soon in trouble with David Hobson being caught by keeper Paul Hewstone without scoring and Mark Coulman being held at mid-on by Robinson, both off the bowling of Mike Shelton.
Andy Lawson had reached just four when he became third man out, also a Hewstone victim off Shelton. And when Andy Torr was well held at gully by Pat Hughes, off Richard Woodward, Outcasts were struggling at 36 for four.
