“Shame on the ST for their double standards. When Sgt Main started tweeting the published an editorial openly mocking him.
Now he's got over 4,000 followers (more than any of the ST accounts) they kiss his a***.
A desperate attempt by a failing paper promote its own popularity by publishing the tweets of its own photographer....
Is this news?”

“Me and my friend Brian from Riddings find the tweets intriguing and very informative, if you follow the right people. Twitter is there for what you want and if you want to follow people who spout drivel then thats your call. If you want to keep up with the cut & thrust of things then follow local news tweeters who are at the coal face of news.
Keep up the good work Telegraph.”

“hmmm, my comment hasn't been added, probably due to it questioning the integrity of the ST and its reporters
which therefore answers the question quite nicely, thankyou”

“Agreed englander61
such a shame that the ST has fallen so low as to allow the copy/paste of tweets to be classed as local news.
Gone are the days when 'reporters' were allowed to leave the office and search out real news, when true journalists could sniff out a great story and probing questions were asked.
Are editorials so constrained by PC rules & regulations that they are unable to now do the job they were designed for ?
Or are the people employed to gather news merely lazy and incompetent ?”

“I agree, it's sad that you need to tell everyone everything that you're up to, as Mozart says who cares, the thing that gets me about those stupid signs Mozart is, no one bothers to remove them after the event. They're just left blowing in the wind and rain.
Right, I'm off to the loo and then popping to the shop for some Findus crispy pancakes for my lunch, then I'm taking back my 'bag for life', it's got a hole in it. Nah, tweetings not my kind of thing, I'll leave it for others who've nothing better to do all day.”
